I really need to be more consistent in blogging! It’s much more difficult to find things to take pictures of in the winter than in the spring and summer, when life is budding all around you. There are many beautiful photography opportunities in the winter as well, but I just find it harder to see the beauty around me when it’s dark and dreary outside. That’s when photography gets interesting though… When you have to look hard to find creative things to capture!
Anyway, here’s a picture of a cold, rainy day… Yuck! We can always find beauty in things we despise 🙂

Thank you so much! It’s great to be back 🙂 We recently got 20 inches of snow, but it’s almost all melted now and back to raining more often than snowing unfortunately. It was definitely a fun treat while it lasted though!
Love the droplets of water on the glass door.
And I remember many a cold dreary day in NY and OH when it was hard to muster up the motivation to do ANYTHING let alone take photos. So, bravo for capturing this gem!
Thanks! 🙂 You’re so right… it’s so hard to be motivated in dreary weather. We definitely have too many rainy days and not enough snow days here… Many people would disagree, but I think snow is so much more worth it when it’s cold out anyway, haha.
